What's the deal with Boomertowne??

I just joined boomertowne and I love it. So very easy to earn points. I love it. However, I have noticed that they may be having some problems right now. My points aren't adding up like they should.

You can earn up to 1000 points a day. 10000 points gets you a $25 giftcard. There are plenty of other prizes available too. You can have up to 4 accounts per household. They each have to belong to an adult (most people on here have been signing up their hubbies).

They just restructured the way you earn points, in order to cut down on fraud. A lot of people were just rating jokes and/or quotes, but they've changed it so you can only earn 100 points everyday doing that. There are still plenty of other ways you can earn points, though. You can take the trivia contest for 25 points. There are several short (under 2 minutes) videos that you can watch that are each worth 7 or 8 points I think. Plus you get 1 point for every new page you go to. You can also submit jokes and quotes for points. And when you request friends that gives you points, too.

I've received a giftcard from them in as little as 9 days!

There's a list of people's usernames in one of Mary K's articles. You can use it to add some people and get some more points that way.

I don't know how long it takes to get it, but I am working on enough points to get a gift card. For lessor point amounts you can also get gifts. They have pictures of them.
The points are very easy to earn. It's a relaxing place with no big mouths that I've seen (man there are some here). But I have not redeemed any points yet. I will try to let you know when I do.

I had no idea about the 100 a day on the jokes and such.

you can earn up to 1,000 points a day... read jokes, rate jokes, read quotes, rate quotes, post jokes and quotes..... you get points for almost anything you do on the site.... a prepaid visa for $250 is only 100,100 points.... and at a thousand points a day... you do the math
this site is tons of fun!!

I am new to Boomertowne, but I am very close to a 25 dollar card.

It was much easier to get the points daily before they changed it. I did get two $25 giftcards to Target, and I have already cashed out for a $75 Visa. My mom and dad have each cashed out for a $50 Visa. My brother still has a way to go but he also started before the recent changes.
