How many points do you get in an average day?

I started today out at 7,800 points, my goal for the day is 8,000. I have been on Gather for about an hour or two and right now I have 7,808 haha, I only have about 2 hours left before I have other stuff to do so I don't think I will be making my goal today.

I know I have made 300+ points in a day before.
I am saving up my points to cash out when I graduate college in a few months to help me pay for moving to Nevada. While the 7,800 poins will help I need a TON more. I don't even own dishes!

How many points do you make in a normal Gather day?
What is the most you have made in a day?

On a regular day when my husband has to work, I usually make around 100-120, since I spend my son's naptime on Gather, plus some time when my son is playing by me.

On weekends, we try to spend more time together as a family so I only make about half of what I normally do.

I think I average about 50 points a day. The most I've ever had in one day was around 100.

What do you guys do to earn the most points? I usually view as many pictures as possible since it seems to be easiest. But I feel like I am no longer earning as many points doing that as I use to. So far I have only earned 28 points today. But I have been doing netwinner and boomertowne while I do Gather.

I get anywhere from 25-100 a day..depends on the day...a friend told me that the more you post in your comments, the more your points will jump up? So I tried posting part of War and Peace chapter 1 as a comment but didn't notice much difference.

I just joined this site and don't anywhere near the points you guys are getting. Just a question here. Is it worth spending hours at a time to get 25-75 points a day? I'm new at this so I'm just wondering.

7,000! I only have like 750 points. LOL! I do think the more you comment and publish, the more points you get. Oh well. It's fun anyway.

Haha no Kathy it wouldn't be worth it to spend hours just for 25 points. As you make connections and meet more people you will find Gather is like myspace or other social websites where you WANT to spend hours on it talking to people. The points are just extra. As time goes on points add up faster. Publish some pictures and articles, make connections and join groups and the points will start to come in even when you aren't on the site.

Matine 750 points isn't bad at all! my 8k in points are almost a year on the site. I have only cashed out once and I think it was only for a $10 gc

It does pick up as you get more contacts, publish more stuff and comment more.
