A Squidoo First For Me!

Those who read my articles (everyone I am sure :-) ) will know that I am a great fan of Squidoo!

Well I have achieved a first for me which is to have two lenses in the Top 100 Squidoo Lenses. I guess it's quite amusing that one of them is How To Succeed With Squidoo and I hope that those who have been toying with the idea of Squidoo will find that helpful.

The other one is my recent Lens Of The Day at Laptop Skins which has proven incredibly popular. It's strange how one can chance upon something like that which becomes so popular isn't it.

Anyway as you might have guessed I am feelign quite pleased with myself!

Thanks Laurn that's very kind of you. I do understand what you say about the link "rich" lenses. I think people do it because Squidoo lenses rank so well in the Google search results. I always make sure that my lenses have what i hope is quality content in them. If you follow the see more lenses by pkmcr on the lenses you will hopefully see what I mean :-)

Paul - congrats on your lenses. I've got one in the Top 100 now and that was a big feat for me. It's always nice to read about Squidoo successes and to see what can be gleaned from them. I was happy to find this group. :)

With a lot of hard work & promoting my Baby & Kids Freebies lens made it to the top 100. It is, as of July 16, 2008, currently ranked #89. I can hardly believe it! I can only hope that the ranking stays above 100 for awhile so I can enjoy it for a bit longer. Maybe I will create a lens to chronical how I did it. It took me exactly 43 days to make it in the top 100... Click here to get to the lens
