Mystery Shopping

When I had more time in the past, I made some extra money as a mystery shopper. Here are some links to some of the companies that I used in the past. Many pay you in diferent ways (pay pal, direct deposit, check) and at different times, but usually, you got to keep what you bought.

There are many more out there. Most are reputable, but do your homework. If you have to pay to sign up DO NOT DO IT. These sites should pay you, not the other way around. Hoe this helps!

Hope they help. Some of the shops are more involved than others. Just pick and choose the ones you want.

I am with Ritter I know because I got my first shop from them last week. I am in several shop sites but do not get any local to me. I am on one that is online, but I have had trouble with them, so I will not tell their name untill I see if they fix the problem.

I've wondered about secret shopping. How does the purchase thing work out? Is that how they pay you? By reimbursing you for what you buy or do they pay for that and pay you too?

Thanks...I've always seen the ones that expect the shopper to pay to sign up.
I'll look into these - I LOVE to shop. And living in NYC, I have tons of opportunities... LOL

I used to do Mystry Shopping, but it seems like every time I want to get back into it, they want me to pay them to be able to start! I don't think that is right, so I gave up trying. Plus now, with the price of gas, I can't afford to go shopping any more!

This is a very good list. All of the mystery shopping companies you mention are reputable. One other good company is Shop'nChek Worldwide. I've done many shops for them and the pay is pretty good. More information and the application can be found here: https://www.applyshopnchek.com/index.aspx

Certified Merchandisers are who I prefer....have made a considerable amount of money from them doing trailer checks at movies, and "standee" installs at movie theaters. If anyone wants some more good ones feel free to contact me.

I have been mystery shopping for over 7 years and love it!!! Some of the companies are a joke and that is why I would like to warn you all. Do not even give Nsite Mystery Shopping a moment of your time! They lie, cheat and steal! Horrible company, horrible employees, and HORRIBLE communication practices!!! There are so many other great companines out there to work for. Beware!!
