I cancelled my paypal account because I got sick of the daily phishing emails.

You can't paste in MyLot unless you have a certain amount in your account. Which I find irritating. I find gather more user friendly.

There is another site called "Associated Content". I am new at AC but you can paste there. They pay you by the article.

I love MyLot sooo much, but for some reason, I stay on Gather instead of there the most. I think it's not cause of lack of conversations, i think it's because their servers are sooooo slow! I like that they pay by paypal at 10 bucks though.
