I went to the mailbox and what did I find?
A bill or two,
A subscription magazine (to which I did not subscribe)
A birthday card addressed to someone else (why is it in MY mailbox?)
And an envelope bearing my name
Casting all others aside, I open the envelope and pull out a check made payable to myself. It is from American Consumer Opinion Panel (ACOP) and in the amount of -- you'll have to sit down for this one!-- $5.00
I had received a check the previous week from them for completing a survey which offered cash payment.
This time, it was noted that my name had been selected and I was a winner in a sweepstakes drawing. WooHoo! Now the most difficult decision: What shall I do with a whoppin' five bucks?

It's always fun to win even if it's only $5!!
If your kids are as easily coerced into cooperating as mine, a big bag of dum dums could go a LONG way! LOL
Enjoy the free dough!
This is kind of off subject because it's not about a survey company, but I also have a check ready to cash for $9.99 from a rebate for NOT getting a subscription to a Field and Stream magazine. Sometimes it pays off to read the small print because we bought a cooler at Target and in it were a bunch of papers, like coupons and special offers. One was a postcard to send in for a free year subscription to that magazine, but in the small print at the bottom it said that if you didn't want the subscription - all you had to do was mail in a copy of your receipt with the purchase price of the cooler and there you go, they'd send you a check for $9.99. Yeah for me.
I have yet to accumulate the minimum for Inbox Dollars. Of course, I don't sign up for all the offers (can't afford to) but I do the daily click and read emails.
If you remember that survey site please email it to me.
I think I'll start doing some. I noticed a lot being posted .
Please join the Gather group mymailbox.gather.com and post this great news there!!
I haven't earned enough for a check at Inbox dollars, either! And at Treasure Trooper, I don't seem to get many of the things I've done, credited!! Any ideas on that, anyone???
