bagpipes. haiku

I love music, music of all kinds. One of my favorite is bagpipe's.

Its just one of those wind instruments I could listen to for a long time. It just might be the irish in me. lol

I love bagpipes, too. For some reason, they always bring me to tears - very emotional. We went to a tatoo once - that's where bagpipers come from all over the world and perform together. It was in Fort Ticonderoga in NY - the fort from the French and Indian War and the American Revolution? It was at night and they had the inside of the fort lit up and the pipers marched in and played. It was a real spiritual experience. (God, that sounds so geeky, but that's how I felt.)

I do love bagpipes and agree with other comments about their emotional value. I have several old albums of bagpipe music which I've converted to tape/disc.
