Original or Cover: Ruby, Don't Take Your Love...

Although I am not a country fan, I don't mind Kenny Rogers on occasion. Here's one of his well-known songs, "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town". I was surprised to see the artists that have covered this song.

There are a couple other versions floating around, including the actual original recorded by James Darrel. The Kenny Rogers version is the one most people know.

I like Wolfsheim's version the best. The others are very close to Kenny Roger's version, and while there's nothing wrong with that, there's also nothing too interesting about it either.

That was the first time I heard Wolfsheim sing it...I agree they did it best. It was a song I always loved, nice to hear a version I liked ever better.
