First Tracks: The Search for America's Best Musical Talent

Enter First Tracks: The Search for America's Best Musical Talent, and your band or solo act could win a major record label recording contract!

Here's How It Works: From January 23 through February 27, aspiring musicians and bands will have the opportunity to submit a video or MP3 of an original song for contest consideration. Entrants can submit online at firsttracks.gather.com, or by attending our launch event in New York City.

Over the course of the competition, these videos will be rated by the Gather community as well as our Judging Panel, and five finalists will be selected. One Grand Prize Winner will then be chosen by the community to win a major record label recording contract.

So are you an unsigned artist or band looking to get your CD into stores? Enter First Tracks: The Search for America's Best Musical Talent. And for those of you who'd rather listen to music than make it, we need you, too! In the weeks to come, you can join other music lovers to help view and vote on the entries. Who deserves their big break? YOU can help decide.
