Well, I was correct in my first thoughts on this.
Every day the news carries more and more of this woman and her selfish, irresponsible ways and the Doctor who performs this procedure is showing he should have his license revoked as well.
He has another woman carrying Quads from his invito-fertilization technique, she is an un-married, un-employed 49 year old woman to boot!
The latest on the octuplets. This 33 year old unmarried, unemployed woman is a whack job at best, a menace for sure!
Her mother wants no part of it, she declared bankruptcy, has to cope with 14 children in a three bedroom house with her husband and daughter, no income, this 'mother' of the octs is totally oblivious as to what she has done it would seem.
She talks nonsence about how the 8 new babies is God's way of telling her not to have any more! Someone should have told her the first six were a sign!
The hospital bill at Kaiser for these latest tops $1 million and Medi-Cal (Aid) won't pay it all, she has set up a web site for donations! The nerve!
This woman should be sterilized and locked up! These poor underweight, premies are facing dire illnesses and CP is the main one.
There is talk of making these irresponsible fertility doctors pay for the lives they dare to bring into the world.
Also an accounting of the woman's mental and physical health and social situation is needed before any such procedure is performed.
I am sickened by the waste and unintelligence of women who think having babies is the be-all and end-all of life.
If you can afford them for the next 18 years, well, even then, it is terrible to bring weak children with health problems into the world.
Women were not made for litters, we have TWO breasts only!

I think the 49 year old is married, but uninsured.
I don't know too many families that have oodles of money and young children. At least not these days.
But, I have to disagree just a tiny bit.
No matter what she has or hasn't done, her children shouldn't have to suffer.
If she gets donations, they should watch and make sure that all the money goes to pay for the kids' doctor bills and funds for them as they grow up. This lady should not be able to touch the funds other than to feed and clothe the kids.
In the mean time, she needs to find employment.

As for the website, she's probably thinking about those people you see specials on where they have 3 or 4 embryos implanted and then some of them split into identical twins. Then there neighbors, churches, and some strangers give them help. I think her parental rights should be terminated for ALL of her children and they should be put in proper homes.
Bringing a weak, or ill child into the world, isn't wrong in and of itself, if it was, my parents were "wrong" too.
What's wrong is when you deliberately have your system hyper stimulated then have 4-6 embryos implanted KNOWING that it will likely result in some of them splitting. KNOWING that you can't care for the children you already have. THAT is wrong.
She is divorced, (as the 49 year old with the 4 growing in her now), Nadia's parents have been caring for the first six, financially and as care-givers, she jsut is a pregnant child at home it would appear. CA is bankrupt, $46 billion in debt, she expects the state to pay for all these kids, children that in vitro she was told she should abrt some for health reasons (to the children) she ignored that Dr. and went elsewhere, just as the first fertility dr. she went to refused to implant these 8 new ones, she went to this dubious Dr. to get it done and he isn't talking, but still impregnating unfit women.
Last night the Attorney General (of CA) is supposedly going to investigate and stop these extreme practices altogether.
We are humans, we are not designed to have litters of children. By the time most women are at the stage of implantation they have already gone through fertility treatments which hyperstimulates their systems. Therefore, there should be only 2 embryos implanted because there is a good chance that at least one of them will split.
She and her family owe over $23,000 in back mortgage payments, some non-profit says they will get donations to house feed and clothe her brood of 14 kids at the cost of $135,000 A MONTH!
A donor/boyfriend (X) has said he may be the father, as he 'donated' sperm to this woman three times, but I doubt it as he is black and all the kids are white...
Did you guys also know that she had plastic surgery on her face to make her look more like Angelina Jolie?!!!
It is a national, no wordwide, scandal!
