It seems lately my kids are not sleeping, it wouldn't concern me so much but they are all three at different stages in their development. I have a big boy, a preschooler, and a toddler. They get up around 6am and they do not go back to sleep all day, until bedtime around 8pm. I know it is not harming them developmentally they are still growing, and seem energetic, they wake up happy and don't get crabby until right before bedtime. My husband thinks it could just be because the weather, and once it warms up and they start running around more they will start to tucker themselves out again. I just worry their little bodies aren't getting enough rest. Does anyone else have this issue with their kids?

My toddler is not and never has been a good sleeper. She sleeps probably 10 to 12 hours per day, but it is broken into smaller segments. I have had the hardest time getting her to sleep all night. My oldest daughter was not this way. My 15 yr would sleep all day if you let him. My 13 yr old wakes up early no matter when he goes to sleep at night. All kids are different.
Some people need a lot of sleep; some need very little. How much one needs changes throughout one's lifetime.
