The landscape looms
With some contrast
No hues of blue
For ocean and sky
No use for color
In a world so defined
No unneccesary distractions
No creative juices flow
Right side atrophy
Shrivels away
Left side functions
In a little black box
Surrounds himself by walls
Where he merely exists

Laurie, I am a big fan of your writing. You choose topics that interest me, present them in formats that impress and entertain, and you make me think. Thank you.
Elizabeth, I agree!
Sandy, thank you for the compliment. It means a lot coming from you!
Faith, I like the feedback of what people take away from my writing so thank you! Restrictions imposed by desire is close to where I was coming from. Sometimes a person will have such strict limits on themselves and others that they miss the beauty in life.
Thanks so much, Ed. I would never suggest we don't need left side, especially to a scientist! But yes, that right side gives us a very good balance.
Thank you, Otelia!
Give me life
I do not wish to merely exist
The world is a rainbow
Not a closed fist

Enoch, is that a real compliment or a back handed one? ;-) Good to see you around here!

And boy, do I need to start developing stronger incentives.
Makes me think of autism.
