I was thinking of having a nice plant sent to my Mom so she can keep it. I am running out of things to get her. Last year she wanted a bible cover . That was easy. I am a Grandmother again today so thats my gift this year.

I probably will not buy flowers. Not really sure if I really get her anything at all. Giving presents on mothers and fathers day is really not something we do in my family. If I do or give her anything it will probably be some some of my handcrafted glycerin soap.

I wish I could send her some and take her out to dinner. She died 2 1/2 years ago. I'd do almost anything to be able to.
It makes Mother's day a hard day to get thru.
My 10 year old helps me get thru it though.

Nope. My mother lives over 700 miles away. She and dad will be coming down for my son's confirmation in another 2 weeks. We'll take them to dinner.

nope, I just can't. It always makes me sad when they die. I usually opt for a gift certificate to get her hair done or to her favorite restaurant instead.
