I dont' think I would like snow -- whipping sounds a little OTT for those poor dafs - they haven't done any harm - just lifting their heads to have a sniff ...... glady 'old eye that there's no snow here!
Your haiku reminds me to go check the gradens in spite of the muddy grounds. The temperature is suppose to hit the mid-60's tomorrow... My daffodils will be shooting up like prisoners on a break!
