You know how in most of our families we develop some silly traditions through the years...........well, one of ours started back in 1953 when we were still living in Cuba.
We had a friend of my mother's visiting from the States who wanted a picture of all of us, my mom, my twin brothers, my little sister and me, so we sort of lined-up by a wall on our front porch.

In the original picture, Mother, Sonia, Tony & Tomy were all approximately about the same height with our mom slightly taller...Sandra was about 8 years old, so she was the short one....

By Christmas of 1985, our mom, Sonia and Sandra were about the same height and the twins, Tony & Tomy, had us by half a head!

This past February (2006) we were all together again and of course, we had to do the traditional line-up.....and now it seems Sonia is the shortest!
Wha'happen?
I gotta tell ya.....I'm the oldest of the four by 15 months between the twins' and my birthday and 8-1./2 years older than my baby sister..........

thanks for reading and commenting......yes, I feel the same....we are the same silly bunch!
Fran, it is funny how we change but in a way, we are still the same....and true...lots of history shared.
Wendy, thank you! We have chaned in some ways and yet in others we are still the same!
As to how life was in Cuba, I will be sharing some early memories of Christmas in Cuba shortly..........1
This is a nice tradition. I have done this with my 'not real' family, but not with my real family, strange as that sounds.
About shorter--have you been drinking your milk and eating your yogurt? ;-) And your fish and good red meat? '
I always love your stories of Cuba and look forward to hearing about Christms there.
Yes, I do.....I love milk and drink quite a bit, as well as eat cheeses, take my Fosamax and extra calcium..... Not big on red meat, but we do eat quite a bit of fish.
Thank you....I have a couple of stories about Christmas in Cuba planned for after Thanksgiving...........
I love taking pictures at any event.....but family occassions in particular!
