In the all-new movie Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, starring Grammy-nominated recording star and actress Christina Milian, East Los Angeles high school cheer squad captain Lina Cruz and her best friends Gloria and Treyvonetta have high hopes of winning the Spirit Championships with the team’s fiery fusion of Latin and hip-hop moves. Instead, Lina’s world is turned upside down when her mother remarries and her family relocates to Malibu where she is forced to adjust to a new home, a new stepsister and a new school with a less-than-stellar cheer squad. Always ready for a challenge, Lina takes on the daunting task on transforming the Malibu Vista High Sea Lions cheer squad into a championship team, but she will have to get past the award-winning Jaguar cheer squad and their captain, Avery. Lina’s budding romance with Avery’s brother Evan only intensifies the rivalry. With the stakes higher than ever before, Lina devises a bold plan that could blow the Jaguars right off of the competition floor and lead the Sea Lions to victory!

Being the starting center on the girls basketball team would be my second favorite memory. we had a couple of great coaches. :)
nothing under my graduation robe.
all the boys in jr. high called me mama long legs....once we got into high school the boys frinally hit their growth spurts. I won't ever forget one of those boys coming up to me in the hall in high school and he was then taller than me. He told me he couldn't call me mama long legs anymore since he was now taller than me.
There really isn't just one moment though, it was more the entire year. Playing soccer, running track, swimming on the swim team, hanging out with my friends, partying etc......it was a year that changed everything in my life. When I returned to my native country, I could hardly speak the language, and I could not wait to return to Florida.
And I grew up on Lake Michigan and there is no better place to hang out than the beach with a few beers and good friends!
Since I mostly have bad memories of being picked on...
But, I do fondly remember the sleepovers with friends I had while in Junior high and part of high school.
I remember one where I went to spend the night with my friend Brianna and she had a ton of other kids from school there.
There are a lot of people I wouldn't have known or talked to before. And, I got to make a lot of new friends. People who ended up being my champion and defending me.
These great friends, I will always cherish. Those who helped break me from my shyness and showed me that not all high schoolers are jerks.
Thanks so much.
It might not sound too fun, but that was the day I realized I was actually smart!Lol!
While dating in high school, I use to love valentines day because he would send a rose or a card to my room. I would enjoy watching him play football and softball and cheer him on in the stands.

i was so proud to be done!!
My homeroom teacher, when I actually went there, yearbook in hand, signed it "To the Phantom of My Homeroom", because I really was never there.
