These days when you head into a "thriller" movie you just never know what your going to be in for. Yesterday I took a deep breath and plunked down my $6.50 for an afternoon viewing of "The Reaping". Right from the start I knew I had made a good choice. A few small steps into a fairly impactful script left me breathing hard with that "I cant look, but I have to look" feeling that kept me rivioted until the end. Hillary Swank with a cast of I dont knows did a wonderful job with this movie. She acts with the same frank honesty Ive seen in her other work, like "Million Dollar Baby". Her tone and the tone of the movie says,"I am what I am what I am" and personally, I really liked it.

Thanks so much for reading me.
This one did come to dvd and when I watched it a second time, I was surprised and disappointed by it. I don't know if they cut too much or I was just in the mood for a thriller when I saw and loved it on the big screen.
I would be curious to see how I felt about it on a 3rd viewing.
