We were walking around the store the other day and looking at different things with the kids. I thought it would be fun to get them one new item that they could play together. We found a Little Tikes Sprinkler ball at Walmart that was perfect. I thought it was a fair price at $12.00, and something my kids can use all summer long. It's a fun alternative to the pool, yet it will still keep the kids cooled off when they are playing outside.

It's says on the box that it's for kids one and a half, but my kids are three and five and they loved it.

Water squirts out the top of the beach ball and then all three of the sides. My husband and I even got in the sprinkler with them. We are not sharing those photos though.

Maddie was dancing and running all around in the sprinkler. I think it is great for the kids to get much needed exercise. They are usually bouncing off the walls from morning until night.

If they get thirsty, they can even stop and get a drink.

In the photo above, Aidan is on some sort of mission with his stick. He was either being Spiderman or a monster. I'm not sure which one it was today.

This sprinkler is great for sunny days, so the kids can still go outside without getting to hot. They have their swingset out there and they can just play and get exercise without heat exhaustion. I was really happy with the new toy.

I think two other little people were really happy too.

A friend of our has that and the kids LOVE it! It's such a fun idea and what kid doesn't love to get wet in the summer!
Love the photos!
Yeah, and it was even fun for us adults too. It was so HOT that we decided to run in the water too. That just made the kids giggle like crazy. I didn't put the photos of us on there though. They just aren't as cute as the kids ones. ha ha ha
Come on now, chicken! LOL!
My kids are 8 and 5 and they LOVE that ball! It's a great summer item!
The photos of big momma running around all wet, are just not that appealing. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
gee that look like so much fun,, I might have to see about this,, cant see it hurting the baby as long as we are with her,, can you
Steph-in-NE---the amount of water that comes out is controlled by the amount of water that you let out of the spicket. You could even turn it on really low so that just a little bit of water comes out for a littler one. The baby would love it.
They're so cute! Today that sprinkling would've felt soooo good.
Oh, it would have Vicky. It was so hot and humid today. I was actually at work today and the kiddos were at daycare. When they got home they were just exhausted. I think they had played out in the heat a little too long. Now they are sleeping soundly and this is my favorite part of the day....................when the whole house is quiet.
That looks like fun! Maybe I should get one for myself!
Go for it Sue!!
They sure have neat toys now days. makes me wish I was a kid again. Perfect choice to keep the kids happy, and cooled off on those hot summer days. And man lately it has been hot!
Hi Dee. I can't believe all the toys they have for kids nowadays. I remember as a kid playing in an old tire with sand. We would make mudpies and sometimes even taste them.
There are way to many toys in my opinion. I like them to just play in the good old outdoors.
Cute kids, but I want to see you guys. :-)
There are some photos of my husband and I in my photos Sherrie. We just aren't wet and in the sprinkler. ha ha ha
What fun! Sounds like a cool toy! I remember, when my daughter was about 5 or so, I got her one of those kids sprinkler things... It looked like a cartoon bug and had all these little "hoses" coming out of its head. When you hooked it up to the hose and turned the water on, the little hoses would start gyrating all over the place squirting water... It was kind of cute... ;o)
That little buy sprinkler sounds like it was fun too!
That looks like fun, think my little nephew would like it too.
Ellen---your little nephew would LOVE this sprinkler ball.
wow - that looks like so much fun and looks liek they are loving that!!! I may get one for the summer - hey why do they have their shoes still one???? I don't think my feet see shoes all summer except for flip flops!!! enjoy! Salud
Our back yard is bumpy and we have some old tall trees that sticks fall from all the time. They like to wear their shoes when they are running on the grass. They have crocs to wear but they both wanted to wear their old tennis shoes with socks. Aidan even has his clothes on this day. He didn't want to wear his swimming trunks. They are just particular! ha ha ha
Wow - well, your yard looks beautiful - full of grass - yes, they must be particular - I can't even imagine tennis shoes in summer - lol -that's how particular my crazy feet are - by the way, morning dew is one of the best things to walk upon early in the morning - it really gets you grounded in case you wake up really early and want to enjoy a great day - go out early barefoot and you'll feel grounded...! Salud
That looks like so much fun! And I would have done anything to have something like that today.
If you come and clean my whole house I will give it to you. ha ha ha
Haha! I don't have a yard or an outdoor faucet, and I think setting it up in my living room would be a bad idea. :-)
That looks like fun. Elliott has this weird aversion to sprinklers. He just doesn't like them. He LOVES his pool, though. He was playing in it on Sunday. I thought the water would be too cold for him, but he had a blast.
What a cool product. Nice photos of them playing out in the water.
this looks like loads of fun. A new twist to the sprinkler
This is a very cool photo essay - I might have to get one of those for my kids too!! Great photos - your kids are so cute and that ball looks like a blast. I wonder how my dog would react to it if I set one up in our yard? hmmmm
Kimber, your dog would probably love this sprinkler ball.
i love it. i also love the picture of the kids trying to drink the water. thanks for telling us about it!! :)
So cute!
that looks like so much fun!
It looks like they loved it!
Thanks guy, for stopping by!
I was debating on this for my kids.. 7,6 and 4.. looks fun
Jenn P----I say you should go for it. It's very economical at only $12 and you can use this sprinkler ball all summer long. It's Little Tikes so it is very durable.
My kids are rough, and they still have not tore it up or anything.
Happy Summer to you and your kiddos.
yeah they'd love it..but my yard isnt very big..and i'd have to put it where my lab can't reach it on his leash... hmm
that looks so cool, i am thinking about one for my kiddos
