Today was a beautiful day here in Missouri. The sun was shining and it finally felt like Spring. We spent a large part of the day outside.

We went to the park to play, fed some bread to the local ducks, and then came back to the house to break out the sidewalk chalk. The kids decided to add water and make it into paint. It was a mess but they had fun.

I am not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, but I can draw names with sidewalk chalk, and I can draw stick people too. ha ha ha

                    

My husband drew this! I'm not sure who it is. I just know that he has an awfully large nose and an odd thing sticking out of the top of his head.

You should have seen the laundry I had to do when this whole mess was overwith. Our driveway looks like wild splashes of color everywhere. It's really cool.

It looks like a fun day! We had wonderful weather here today, too. So we went to the park this evening. We were going to go in the afternoon, but Elliott slept late at nap time and then my mom called. It's always something. lol

Oh I love this Monica - beautiful presentation - newspapers used to sell their left over newspaper - not sure if they do anymore but it's a big roll so if they're confined inside they continue to be artsy - it's sooooo important for kids to create and just enjoy colors and shapes! Baiden---My daughter has decorated some of her bedroom walls with crayons a while back. She did it on the wall behind her door, so I didn't see it for the longest time. I just left it there. One day we will re-paint when the kids get older.

Thanks Marie. It was actually a huge mess on their clothes, but I didn't even care. It was just nice to see them having a fun time.
