I recieved a gift from a friend last Christmas. It was a book entitled, "What to Tell Your Children. (100 Thoughts That Every Parent Should Share.)" It doesn't state the author. It is published by Great Quotations, Inc.
I wanted to share with you some of the quotes that jumped out at me. They are wonderful for any parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles ect. to share with the kids that you love.
"Never look down on anyone unless you're helping him up."
"Our words may hide our thoughts, but our actions will reveal them."
"All things are difficult before they are easy."
"The smallest good deed is better than the GRANDEST good intention."
"No matter how far you have gone on the wrong road, turn back."
"To be happy, do not add to your possessions but subtract from your desires."
"The person who knows everything has ALOT to learn."
"What can't be done by advice can often be done by example."
"Create a life you love to look at."
"The secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes, but in liking what one does."
"Real love always creates, it never destroys."
"Ostacles are what you see when you take your eyes off of your goal."
"Actions, not words, are the proof of love."
"Learn to listen. Opportunity could be knocking at your door very softly."
"Keep you head and your heart going in the right direction and you will not have to worry about your feet."
"If you use your time to improve yourself you will not have time to criticize others."
"Take time to laugh. It is the music of the soul."
"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."
Hope you all have a wonderful Friday.
