Im always seeing great articles on people, but I never really see anyone talk about what they do for a living? I thought it would be great to share what kind of job we have or do and what we do for a living?

(Sounds good, doesn't it? What it actually means is do whatever needs to be done no matter who "should" be doing it. So one hour I may be ordering supplies and trying to get the budget book in order and the next creating banners for online classes. Then I may have to go set up a video conference or webinar. It's never the same thing day after day.)
Lots of interesting careers here.
AND TAKE CARE OF MY 2 GRAND KIDS MOST OF THE TIME BOYS 5 @ 9 THEY HAVE A BABY BROTHER BUT HE DONT STAY HERE, NOT VERY INTERESTING AS SOME OF THE OTHERS ON HERE ,
Mostly I'm unemployed, except for the writing I do so many hours a day. That, of course, is going to pay off one of these days, for sure!
And, I am a writer, although not published yet. I hope to be someday.
Blessings ~

Play on Gather all day.... (ha ha ha)
I'm also a mom~more demanding than any other job!
I Loved my work.
Unfortunately I had been hit by a car decades earlier.
Combined with several sports and work related injuries, I retired on a disability pension.
Aside from actually missing my work, I was a very big jock (especially softball and wallyball).
I miss playing sports most. Very much!
On the good side, I never got to spend much time with my family before my retirement.
Now I spend tons of time and am Extremely Greatful for that!
Don't like being in chronic, severe pain, but you gotta deal with it the best you can.
Am severely limited now.
to your question (myself included).
Can anyone tell me what, if any good groups there are on Gather that discuss or deal in anyway with the subject of disability or chronic pain?
I know I can search for them, just thought I would ask you all for any good ones.
If you know of any, please respond to me witha ping or a note.
Thanks ya'll!
I REALLY have trouble sleeping.
Can't take sleep aids 'cuz they all zombify me all day long.
Sorry for running on.

Oh, and BTW, enrich your experience on Gather by joining us at pointmasters.gather.com.
Now I sell a bit on ebay for a few extra pennies to supplement my paltry pension.
Also do some survey sites that I have found that do pay out a bit.
Spend a lot of time with my grandkids and have a great grand on the way (lost a great grand in March prematurely).
My life is full and happy, just poor!
I really don't work anymore! I'm disabled but I do have a few sidelines that I do enjoy doing from time to time. Like helping out in the community, the Lords work!
Now in the past I had so many different jobs over the years I lost count, as far as carriers go I've worked as an outside sales manager for almost 6 years, I even ran a state sales office. I also worked in and around the construction industry with different jobs for more than 20 years. I also worked in the grocery business from bagger to store manager for 10 years. But the job that I most enjoyed was within the cabinet industry for 9 years like many jobs I had I started at the bottom, starting off as a sander working my way up to building and then to even designing cabinets.
Thanks for asking!
