A Walk Around My Yard!

I was walking around my yard looking at everything that's blooming. I took the camera with me, of course! Here's a few pictures I took from my yard.

This first photo is just a shot of what's next to my driveway.

And some flowers...purple passion flower...

This next one is my desert rose, it's blooming away!

And a regular rose...

Some seed pods from a wild hibiscus...

A penta...

yellow hibiscus...

A blue daze...

And even a few animals!

Here's a lizard chillen on my table...

And another one on a crate...I thought he had cool markings!

A squirrel destroying me feeder!

And even a cardinal...but he was way up there. I only spotted him because he was chirpen away!

And last but not least, a rock from the border around my front garden, thought it made a cool shot...

Hope you enjoyed the photos rom my yard! All photos were taken by me about an hour ago. I am also posting this for Photo Scavenger Hunters group, theme, Spring

I LOVE THE LIZARDS!!!!! I wish we had fellows like that around here! They are so cool. The markings, the patterns...what can I say? As a herpetologist, they fascinate me! Great pictures.

....oh, and your're right about the stone - cool and the interesting seed pod of the wild hibiscus, loved it. I had no idea there were wild hibiscus - what color are they?

We get those little chameleons, too. It's entertainment to watch them do push-ups in the sun! Good selection of plantlife, Holly, colorful and cheerful! And your critters seem much friendlier than mine.....and I'm sure they eat less that deer and raccoons.

Cool, Holly. I'm jealous though, the only things blooming here, so far, are the crocus and daffodils, tulips soon to follow, but after them, it may be a while, lol.

Every time I see photos/articles with this many flowers I have to check WHERE you are! LOL We got SNOW last night so all we see is whit and some patchy BROWN areas.

Great photo essay!!

We have the Purple Passionflower vine in our yard too!
We have had it for not quite a year yet and it is out of controll. Hubby built a pergola in our backyard and then we bought the vine and put in along one side. It has grown like crazy! We also have Dessert rose and hibiscus too!
oh and tons of lizzards!!
