Spring has finally sprung to the State of West Virginia. It has been a long time in coming. I did not think that the cold would ever leave. I find that I hate the cold more and more each year. Seems that once my body gets cold, it takes days to warm up again.
I live in a beautiful part of West Virginia. It is green with lots of trees and flowers. The hills are so beautiful this time of year. I was sitting on my front porch yesterday and was just in Awe at the beauty all around me. Heavenly Father sure did know what he was doing when he made this earth. It is sad to think that we are not taking as good care of it as we should.
This is a picture that I took while on my front porch in the swing. I wanted to share it with you so you could enjoy the view that I am fortunate to see every day. I hope that you will take the time to enjoy the beauty that is all around us.

I just love it here in West Virginia. We may not be close to any shopping centers or large grocery stores but are blessed in many other ways.

Thanks, I love it here. You can hear the water as it flows down stream. There are lots of bird and wildlife.
I just love to sit on the porch swing and listen to the water and the birds. The deer come into the yard and eat. We have lots of wildlife here.
Where do you live? My daughter in South Carolina can see fields of cotton and soybeans all around her.
I love sitting on my deck and doing nothing but watching the dogs play, the birds fly from tree to tree, and the occassional deer in the field between the house and the barn. We DON"T always appreciate the simple beauty that is around us each day. Thanks for the reminder!

It is beautiful in the part of the state that I live
It is such a beautiful state. The West Virginia welcome sign used to read 'Wild, wonderful West Virginia" now they have changed it to "West Virginia, Welcome for business". We are trying to get the old sign put back up. I hate the new sign. They make WV sound so boring
