My oldest is in Disney this week!

What a week, while one daughter took off for deployment in Kuwait- the other went to Disney!

She just called me to say that they were bored!! MGM stinks and so does Animal Kingdom- I didn't know what to say! I love Animal Kingdom(even though it is not a zoo!!-I think it is). I love zoos, Animal Kingdom has it all for me, the Disney factor, beautiful settings and a zoo atmosphere.

As for MGM, how can she say it stinks! I love that park also. My younger daughter and me usually hit the two of these parks on the same day. We usually do Animal Kingdom in the morning and by 3ish we hop over to MGM. I love the Great Movie Ride, and Beauty and Beast show and the nighttime showing of Fantastmic.

She also called yesterday to say she was bored at Universal Studios.

The one thing she does love is the temperature! Keeps calling me to say it is almost 80!! hey ma...what is it by you!! Well I wish I was there this week!! Even if I was bored...

well that's a hoot, because my youngest is there this weekend. A friend got 6 free airfare tickets (he works for an airline) and flew them all down

It just depends on the person.
Some people are diehard WDW fans and love every aspect of it.
Some people just like the classic characters.
Others just like the thrill rides.
Still others like the "expanded universe" of characters from all the newer movies and tv shows.
Some people just go for their kids sake and some people go because they are kids at heart.

I like both. I love Disney(when it is not crowded) and I love nature. Last year I stopped off in St Augustine on the way down- and went up the road a bit to Fort Mantanzas - it was beautiful.

Jennine, there are some ways you might be able to. There was a time when I couldn't either...but I got there!! If you use credit cards, try one that has rewards on it. You can set up some of your recurring bills to it and get points/cashback and just pay the credit card each month instead of the other. Go on some of those annoying timeshare tours, they offer everything from hotel stays to tickets, and sometimes cash.
Just a few ideas, and even if you don't get to Disney- some of these ideas might get you some other deal.
