Surprise win!! on Take Five

Last Friday I went to play my usual Take -Five for the week. I knew that I had a free play on the prior week's ticket. I did not get to look at the night before's numbers- my paper had just posted - not available at time of printing.!!

So I go into the gas station and give the slip to the man, along with last week's ticket. I joked around about it being a "winner". Thinking that it was only worth a free play. I looked to the side where he had the night's before numbers and I yelled out- "I really am a winner- holy crap". The man looked nervous- saying he really should have looked at the ticket first before processing it.  I had four of the five numbers- I had won 355.50 dollars(hey once in 10 years is good!!). The man barely had enough money in the drawer to pay me.

I walked out to my car and my 13yo is sitting there, snotty as usual.She made one of her normal nasty comments about "what I win- a dollar"  I told her I really was a winner. I had the biggest smile on, I was almost dancing in front of the car. Then she tried to get me to give her 200.00 for her bank-yeah right.

Wins like this are far and few for me!! Even though I probably have spent thousands over the past 25 years, this win was great!!......
