Heres just a few helpful tips for the kitchen. I found these tips in numerous different magazines.
TO FIRM LIMP CELERY
Trim one inch off the bottom of stalks, then stand upright in a container filled with an inch of ice water and store in the refrigerator.
TATOR TIPS
Wash thoroughly paying particular attention to indentations
Poke with a fork a couple of times to avoid bursting
Do not wrap in foil. This holds the steam in and causes soft skin, leave them unwrapped for crispy skin.
WHAT GOES BEST WITH CERTAIN LIQUEURS
Amaretto- apricots, almonds, peaches
Also good with chocolate, bananas, and pumpkin
Baileys Irish Cream- Chocolate
Frangelico- Chocolate, coffee and peaches
Grand Marnier- chocolate, excellent drizzled over vanilla ice cream
Chambrod- vanilla, chocolate, almonds, lemon, and raspberries.
