How do you find so much to write about!!

We have lousy lives? LOL

LOL, I did write stuff...but then it I lost it - I typed up this big story and when I went to publish, it got lost!! I think it was the day of the crash.

I get inspired to write about things I see on a daily basis or things that I go through personally. Sometimes I'll write up to 5 articles in a day if I have enough material however sometimes I can go a week or even two without writing anything. I'm very observant of the things around me and pull my writing from that. This way, I can also get a great number of different topics to write about from work to school to family to friends to dating and relationships to books to movies to music, and so much more. Be more observant of what's going on around you and I'd like to bet that you'll find more material for your Gather writings. Also, try paying more attention to the things you are going through and what the affect of those things has on you. How do you feel about those things? How do you accomplish those things? You can get a lot of material from that as well. Good luck!

I have so much to write about, then when it comes time to post/publish something happens and my article is lost!! It might be time for a new computer.- but you guys always have so much, I must really be a hermit!!

Donna - Try doing everything in a word processor like Microsoft Word first, save your work, then try publishing. That way if publishing doesn't work you won't lose your writing. I have a folder on my computer strictly for the Gather articles I've written.

I did save something to word perfect 10, but I can't copy and paste?? I even tried to email it to myself- still couldn't copy and paste. I guess I am not meant to publish this story!! and the day prior I had typed it out in that box on gather and lost it...a few times this has happened.

I don't.... That's why I don't publish much.

Just a suggestion. You might want to post your articles in the correct groups. It is an irritation (at least for some members here) if you post everything into every group.

Donna.... what you need to do is highlight the text you want to copy.. then hit CTRL + c ... then click where you want to past and hit CTRL+v that is the easy way to copy paste things... hope this helps.

Selene I really don't post too much myself, I do answer alot. As for sending to all the groups, I thought so far I sent to the right ones!! and I guess someone could always delete it ,if someone sent it to the wrong place.

speaking of sending to the wrong place!! my daughter was trying to show me how to do something and I hit send....but I am not sure where I sent it!! She was totally confusing me!!! my kids know all this stuff about computers...and I am still learning!!
