On the way to the dentist for AJ, I realize how truly blessed we are to live in such a beautiful part of Oakland. I use to think Oakland meant scary, ghetto, high crime and the Raiders. Well it still is all those things in certain parts of the city, just like every city has it's good and bad parts. We live next to Lake Merritt, truly beautiful, especially at night when the lights around the lake are turned on. Today I walked on and then into Franklin.
What parts of your town are you happy about?

Last time I had nitrous oxide it was like $150 but there was no dentist or medical professional involved.

We recently lost our dental insurance and my husband just found out that he needs $2.240 worth of work done, in addition to the tooth he just had pulled and already paid for. That's strange too because he always goes to the dentist for cleanings and checkups every 4 months or so.

I like the city I live in, although I liked it much better when it was a small town, before all the idiots from Los Angeles decided this would be a nice place to live and they could commute. The air here used to be very clean, now it is not, with 60 thousand plus driving to L.A. every day to go to work. Yuck!
I've lived here for most of the time since 1964 so I must really love it here LOL
No more junk food.....More apples, oranges, bananas.
