One of the many reasons we live where we do, is the wonderfully majestic views we get of the Sacramento Mountains! This storm came up late one afternoon this past week! Hubby is a Met Tech (Meteorologist) at White Sands Missile Range, he loves watching storms and got all these pictures!
I just watched this thing build, it was awesome to see! I hope you enjoy my attempt to share it with you!
We didn't get any rain out of this monster but the people on the other side of the mountain in Timberon did, even had some flash floods because of it!
I hope you get the sense of just how big this storm was, it made me feel very small and insignificant!

These Photos were awesome, ginger! I love sitting on my porch and watching such things build up...once saw a tornado build, then it went flying away and took soom roofs off a mile away...
I remember seeing a tornado as we drove across Texas when I was a kid, awesome huh!

I remember when we lived in New Mexico, the storms that would build quickly and gives us flash floods. The pictures are beautiful.
