Invitation to read a very good Science Fiction novel!

Since this story was published on Gather I have read every installment with great interest!

Science Fiction is one of my favorite genres.

I'd like to share with you the writings of our own Gather member Carl "not ready for prime time" Lee. A Stone's Throw Away is a wonderful story, many twists and turns. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have!

Got to agree with you lady. From my pov it's like nothing you've ever read really. Imagine a world, 'post-apocalyptic' so to speak, but not, where there are no women. Where the people for the most part have never heard of women, or the 'opposite sex'. It's just always been that way, and you are more or less cloned, that is how the race perpetuates. Now imagine you see something, find something, that leads you to question all you've ever known, the journeys that may lead you on and the danger it may incur for you.

That's my review, obviously I'm enjoying it and right now he can't write fast enough it's been leaving me on the edge of my seat!
