Two So Different, Yet Best Friends

Yes, this is what is so needed everywhere. I hope people don't tired of me mentioning the name of Jesus. I just love that name and I love his teachings. I fall short of his ways many times and have to back up and repent and ask for guidance all over again. But....this is exactly how Jesus is. He loves the worst criminal we could think of, but hates the crime and the condition that criminal has been lead into. He loves every liar, even those who take his name in vain, Jesus still loves that person, and stretches forth his hand to them. He died on the cross between two thieves and forgive them both as he himself died for their sins and our sins. He said he did not come to save the righteous, but the lost. He will live 100 white sheep and go way up in the mountains and treacherous places looking for that one black sheep. I say he, when he was on earth. We are the ones to do these same things now in his name and for his namesake and for our own salvation. Jesus even loved Legion who was possesses with many evil spirits and so dangerous to himself and others that he had to be chained down way from all the the other people in the land. Jesus is all about fellowship, friendship and loving one another. We are all in a terrible time now. It is now more than ever that people need to band together and be good to each other. It is a hard matter to forgive people who have broken into your house and stole from you, and I pray that this does not happen to myself or to anyone else during this very hard times any greater than it is already happening, however, to be set apart and separated as God's elect, we are commanded to still love that criminal. We hate the sin, but have to love the criminal if we are to expect any kind of help from God ourselves. It is easy to love them that love us, but the true test is to love our enemies and those who hate us, those who despitefully use and abuse us. We do not have to take up direct fellowship with them, we may be lead into the same types of darkness, but we are commanded to love them, pray for them and seek ways to try and lift them out of their darkness.

An unusual pair of friends to be sure! But with many lessons for us all.
