Stopped in my Tracks

Sooooo, I'm walking along...trying to be a good pack leader. 

Cody is suppose to be following me...head high with nose pointed forward...tail wagging but not too excessively. 

We're going along at a good clip, I'm walking tall,  head in the clouds...thinking of how pretty the day is when it happens.

I'm jerked to a stop, almost thrown backwards... off balance... while Cody stops to smell  a spot in the grass, of what.....I can only guess...but he seems to be liking it.

 I'm sure we're wonderful entertainment for the neighbors.

I can just see your neighbors. 'Marge, come here and watch, Katherine is out with her dog again.' "I'll be there in a minute sam. I'll call the neighbors, so they can enjoy watching her too.'
So, while you are walking, all of your neighbors are at their windows watching. Later, they will sit at dinner and you'll be the topic of their conversation.
LOL....I'm sure they know me by now, that's for sure...LOL

I get the picture Katherine, and I can see it too, I bet all the neighbors are waiting to see you every morning, or maybe, just maybe, they are having a cup of tea, and not seeing it at all, I think it is wonderful how our minds let us be there for everyone to be looking at, I love this.

LOL, I know the feeling.
I was doing it the Cesar way...darn it...he was behind me...trotting along, couldn't even feel him on the lease...then he just stopped and when I got to the end of the length of the leash....well the rest is just too funny LOL
