What is the farthest away from home that you have been?

           Where have you gone that is the farthest away from your home? For me, that would be Denmark when I was in highschool.

I have been most every state in the U.S. from California to Florida. I have also been to Mexico City and Monterrey Mexico. So I really need to calculate the miles from South Texas to be sure.

the farthest I have gone is from Florida to Montana..
Before that it was Illinois to florida, when I used to live in Illinois

I've never been a 'farthest from home", home is where I happen to be.
Unless I consider America my home. The the farthest i've ever been is hmm... how far is Turkey from America? Or Engand, Germany,Italy. Somebody do the math! I suck at math.

Steve LOL! I have been to France & Spain & I used to live in WA state. That is PRETTY far from home :o) (And that was my 1st time on an airplane!!! good thing it went well! LOL)
I flew to Florida in HS to dance at Walt Disney World one summer, and I was living in Michigan at the time. 2nd runner up was my trip to Boston about 18 months later to see the guy I met at Walt Disney World.

Live(d) in Michigan and went to Hobart, Tasmania (which is about as near to Antarctica as you can get without kicking penguins). That's 10,121 miles. Makes the 9,391 trip to Singapore look like a walk around the block, don't it?

Grew up an Air Force brat. Went from Georgia to Germany and lived 4 years.
As a married grown up now living in Arkansas. We took a camping trip from here to Cape Elizabeth, Maine one summer and then the next summer went camping in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Next. Yellowstone.

Once upon a time.....a friend invited me to McLean, Virginia to "get away from it all". From there, we went to Watkins Glen, NY for a Formula One race, back to McLean to pack our gear and DROVE to Mexico City. It was like going to Pluto.

Buffalo with a boyfriend....who of course ended up being a not so good person who was on the run from the law in Buffalo (why did we go??)
