A Sad Development in Image Tagging on Gather 

 

I was just browsing one of my connections images and clicked on one of his wife. She is a very lovely lady. I would say quite pretty. A lady, that without make-up, if you passed her on the street you might not turn and walk backwards into a manhole, but you would definitely make mental note of as attractive.

The gentleman in question also thinks his wife is lovely.

I know.

I know because he tagged the image - lovely wife!

Typically when you view a photo on Gather there are two sets of four thumbnails to the right of the image you are viewing. The top set of four are images of the person's connections. The lower set of four thumbnail images are images with similar tags. When viewing the lovely wife photo there were four thumbnail images of this member's connections. However! there were NO thumbnails of similarly tagged images!

What's the deal guys??? Do all the rest of the husbands on Gather think they are married to less than lovely wives!?!?! Come on guys, I know some of your wives on this site ... and they are LOVELY!!! Surely you think your wife is lovely, too. You all better realize it is time to get your act together! Unless you are on Gather, and the internet in general, to troll for a little something on the side ... you better get those pics of your LOVELY WIFE posted and TAGGED!

oooo I have a great picture of my oven ... I could post a picture of it... it is probably still my most favorite appliance. I bought the extra large one so I can roast turkey AND still fit the rest of the fixings in.

Travis I am happily spouseless and also unattached. Now one thing my ex-wife did understand, was that guys look at girls! She even rented the porn and bought a dirty magazine once in awhile for us to share. She knew I would be true to her even if I did appreciate the beauty around me, I looked, didn't touch! ... too bad she didn't understand other things about marraige ...

Ron, I think avoiding potential legal issues is quite wise.

Great article and comments. I have no man currently to take pictures of. I do have some old ones but since I have stepped on them with spiked heels they aren't in any condition to send.
I agree buying and sharing porn can make for a wonderful relationship. Like I always say, "I love to look at fast cars and beautiful horses, but that doesn't mean I need to drive or ride them."

Joanne, I just ran your tags (and variations) and did not find even one pic of you under Splendiforously bitchy. In fact, after trimming it down to just bitch, the tag search returned only nine images total of which six where buttons or bumper stickers with only words, and none of the remaining three images were of you ... the results of the search do not support your claim of being bitchy, much less splendiforously bitchy. You will need to present additional evidence to bolster your claim or we will have to consider your continued use of the terms - Splendiforously bitchy, splendid bitch, bitchy, or just plain bitch - to constitute false advertising.

That's great Mr. Bill! My husband doesn't Gather, but he tells me all the time that I'm his gorgeous wife, he lies, but I love it anyway! He was even interviewed once for website contest that he won and he thanked me heavily for all my love and support! Yeah, he's pretty great!
