Teacher's pet, I wanna be Teacher's Pet ...
and got to be a dog in the manger instead.
here are a few suggestions to get someone writing, but I doubt if the contest is 9open to nonUS residents as Gather is about International Community, but not into renumerating it.
I'd love to have some of Seattle's Best , but even better than Starbucks and Seattle's Best is the Market Spice Orange-- once you drink that, you never forget it. And you add in a nice salmon for me off Pike Street Market with some shrimp on the side--
oh this calls for a song--
The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle
and the hills the greenest green in Seattle
like a beautiful child, growing up and being wild
full of hopes and full of fears
full of laughter full of tears
full of dreams to last the years
in Seattle
there-- bonafide Seattlelite in Prague. Homesick again--
is your contest open to us nonUS residents? Boy in Anacortes there was the nastiest physiology teacher I ever knew. And then after that the drunken football coach who "taught" biology and after that Mrs Chickpea who hated everybody in my family-- and the list is incredibly long for a town of 6000. There's the math teacher who nearly defenestrated the present town mayor, Dean Maxwell
and the drama teacher who put us all to sleep
oh what can I say, but Annie's Corset was the best place to be
after the strawberry and cucumber fields with the girls wearing bikinis.
Just don't tell me nuthin' about summer in the city
because I grew up pickin' strawberries and singing, "Oh Sweet Pea..."
and sleeping through all my afternoon classes
as they were as boring as could be.
Now that was nice and nostalgic so I should publish it as an article and get some mileage out of it.
the original Seahawks with the purple and white--
and beside that Gather is back to its normal dysfunctional self with the Latest Downgrade for New Additional Advertising to fill up your personal namespace.
pretty soon it will be inserted in the midst of your articles. Wait Coming Soon! More Valuable Content to Fill your Template.

and note, they never answer when folks ask them if the contests are valid for NonUs residents
it's an international site that believes in exploiting every possiblity in advertising and content without too much reimbursement.
and happy because i just discovered that I can now five my valable content to something much more sttus oriented and quality-controlled than Gather
LA Times here I come
(this is a full frontal attack on the LATimes with daily submissions when possible. Next to the Atlantic, the next best thing has to be the Nr 1 newspaper of the US-- the LATimes.)
(note NYT is long gone and slide to bottom of top ten with the Jayson Blair Affair and since then, there has been Plame and that journo-gone-wild).
and when I have a potd in the LATimes, I will be singing for a long time.
Now that I had a picture of day on the Weather Channel and National news, I feel tough. And that was the 3d picture I submitted over there too-- let me check. Nope 4th picture, but 2others were taken for the travel gallery.
building a resume--
Good luck with marketing your work!
and they say it rains there, but obviusly they never lived or stayed in Portland or Southern Illinois
