Today I took a walk outside, amazed by many things. The air was so fresh and brisk and full of new beginnings. I love this time of year and I took some pictures to show you the things I saw today... right outside my door and right under my nose.
I am starting to become more serious about photography, and am trying my hand at macro. So, please take a moment to view these pictures at their fullest size to get the most out of them. You can click right here: http://www.gather.com/viewImages.jsp?parentId=281474976909385 to do that, thanks.

I miss green. *sad sigh*
Marian L: Why, thanks! I'll send good vibes your way in hopes that Spring will come soon for you.
Larry H: I'm in Salem, Oregon - so will you be here for dinner? If so... what would you like me to make you? I'm sorry you guys are getting more snow!
You're welcome, Diane B - I'm glad you like them.
David Smith: Thanks, I appreciate the compliments on the macro. I am trying to work with what I have, so I am happy with the shots I was able to get. I have been trying harder to make sure I have my camera with me at all times as well because lately all I see are possible shots. Once I got my mind into taking pictures, that's all I see anymore! I'll send good vibes your way too for Spring to come your way soon! :o)
jadan x: OK, you can come live here if you want. ;o) Thanks.
jessie voigts: I love moss too, I found that it is really fun to photograph. Thanks and sorry you are still so cold over there!
Amy George: Wow - thanks so much, I'm trying!
Scott L: Thanks... yeah, you can. I guess I'll be making dinner for you and Larry?
Kerry M: ugh, snow and ice... icky, I'm sorry! Well here's some green for ya!
Nancy S: Why thank you... I appreciate the nice comments. Haha, "what is spring again?" - I hope you get something green in your area soon!
Jennine D: THANKS! I'm sorry though that Spring won't come for another 6 weeks or so where you're at. Today it rained and rained and rained, so I'm hoping it's clear enough tomorrow to get some more pictures. I'm happy my pictures gave you some hope!
Now I wonder who gave me something less than a 10 for this? I'm not saying I'm a pro photographer or anything, but I think I did pretty darn good for someone who's just starting out and it's not like my writing was bad or anything. I just wish that if someone is going to send me a low rating, at least you could tell me WHY you would do that? Do I need to improve on something? Do you have any tips for me? Why did I get a low rating? I hope the person that gave me that rating will stop back by here and let me know why I deserved anything less than a 10. So, if you do stop back by... please tell me what I can do. Thanks!
Vanessa D: Thanks so much. Don't worry, Spring will come for you too! I will keep my fingers crossed that it comes soon.
barb w: Why, thanks! I am happy you like these and even more happy that they were able to warm your body up! I hope it starts getting warmer over there for you.
Ann K: WOW - thanks SO much! How cool is it that you ran across one of my articles right when you started on Gather? That makes me feel special and I'm so happy you like these. Like I said, I've been trying. I hope I'm improving and I think I am. Photography is certainly a learning process, I've found out.
