Come view sunrise on the beach

At the start of a new week, I thought I would share a sunrise on the beach with everyone.  You can see at first all of the birds are eagerly awaiting a new day here. 

The sun slowly begins to peak from behind the almost ever present cloudline along the eastern horizon of the Atlantic Ocean.  You can make out the laughing gulls preening themselves as they want to look their best in the morning light.  What excitement awaits their adventuresome souls today?      Only time will tell but it is certain that they will occupy themselves with the daily flights up and down watching for the daily junk food tossed up by the tourists!

The secret to a good life is to make the most of one's opportunities it seems.  And these winged spirits continue to teach us that laughter makes even the most troublesome times pass by quickly.

Here is a fellow that has already started looking for breakfast by himself.  Not only does the early bird get the worm, but apparently the fish as well!!

The night tide has left a treasure trove of items along the wrack line for the eager eyed seekers.  While empty crab shells are perfectly good indications of mother nature working her wonders, the ever increasing amount of plastic debris does not suggest a positive trend for the future of our ocean life.

But as the sun continues to climb into the sky, the hope of a new day suggests that here is another opportunity to teach and educate others on the importance of properly caring for the environment.
