Florida is suffering another terrible wildland fire season. Georgia and California are also hard hit as of now, but other states also have fires. Florida is of course famous for having so many hurricanes hit in one season, but every Summer we do have more of a chance to get hit than most other states it seems. We all watched in sadness as New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast was clobbered by Katrina. I have never been in an earthquake that I could feel, but certainly have seen the damaging effects of them. What I am wondering is how much does the possibility of some sort of "natural disaster" influence your decision when making travel plans for vacations?
