One day.. after it had snowed for 3 days straight at record low temps accumulating at least 8” to 9 “ of snow the temperature had increased slightly to above freezing adding to the snow enough moisture which created the perfect medium for expressing my creativity, with insatiable passion my hands started to move over the snow with anticipation forming and sculpting this unknown body starting from below with sensual curves and detail ( like music to my ears ) as I slid, packed and smoothed up the body my hands could feel a sense of reality and shivers up my spine and wasn’t the cold.. but of a body coming to life that enticed me to continue working up the head delicately forming the lifelike round shoulders I packed and smoothed up the neck, finally reaching up to the top of the neck and finally it was time to sculpt the head which I left blank so anybody could imagine there own.
Day after day the temperature held at freezing keeping my lady intact so I could admire my work.
Passing by windows at my home I looked for her and there she always was just like I left her.
The farther I stood… more lifelike she looked sitting out there my created consort.
Then the weather changed unexpectedly into the mid 40’s It was only a matter of time that my lady would soon disappear, I knew that soon all that I had done would remain only a story to tell.
Little by little my creation was prematurely lost, of course she was destine to go with the change of the seasons but what if this so called Global Warming would really exist ?
And the ups and downs of the temps would become more extreme, the glaciers would melt even more quickly, my snow woman could reappear every winter as long as there was snow but if that would disappear so would my snow woman and so would Humanity.
Would you take a chance..?!

Sad but nice. I think we all take chances...but some things should not be over looked.
