Interesting, the Blue Train has nobody. I don't feel sorry for someone who seems to be putting out no effort to get involved.
Okay, I'm being mean.
I personally think AMTRAK should concentrate on improving service and forget the blog business. I recently took a plane to NYC from Boston because it was CHEAPER than the train. And if you consider the Fung Wah bus, even with all of it's fiery rollover accidents, the train STILL comes in a distant third.
I also think that we should be using our gas taxes to improve public transportation instead of building more highways, as long as Amtrak does not squander all the money it receives. Maybe it is just impossible.... the bullet train in Japan (one of the best-run railways in the world) loses a lot of money too. But at least you get that great service. On Amtrak you get the huge deficits without the service.
That's what I think.

Does it still say in the rules that members who SPAM about this contest will be removed from it? If so, where do I drop off my spam? I ask because apparently there are problems with the forward feature that leave off the username of the offending party. I applaud gather's attempt to reign in the massive spamming about contests, because, frankly, this is ridiculous.
