Join the Race to National Train Day! Amtrak is celebrating NTD on Saturday, May 10th in Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles and New York and you could be the conductor of a train that heads there virtually! Play the Race to National Train Day Game here on Gather! We're looking for 4 Team Conductors to lead their team to one of the NTD celebration cities on Gather.
To be considered to be a conductor, we'll take the first four members who answer this question correctly or get close enough to it without going over (you can only guess once):
What was the average total daily passenger traffic for a busy Amtrak Station in 2007?
The first 4 members who get that answer (or closest to it) will be selected to be a Team Conductor of either the Blue Train Team, Green Train Team, Orange Train Team or Yellow Train Team. Once you've been selected as a Team Conductor, you then have to board Gather members on your train! The Team Conductor who fills his/her train the quickest will win a $100 AMEX gift card for themselves, and each member of the team will win 50 Gather points. Plus, one lucky team member of the winning team will randomly be selected to win a $50 AMEX gift card.
Here's how it works: As the Team Conductor you'll try to get the most Gather members to board your train by downloading your team icon. You have 3 weeks to reach 300 Gather members and we'll keep track of how the race is going in the All Aboard group. There will be more instructions to come once the Team Conductors are announced.
Remember, the first 4 members to answer the above question correctly or come the closest without going over will be a Team Conductor and have the chance to win the $100 AMEX gift card!
You have to 11:59pm EDT on Tuesday, April 22nd to comment!
