I lost everything! Can you give me some...

Yep, its me... the girl that lazily rolled over in bed one morning in the nude to find a sheriff standing in front of her telling her to get out now! What????? I knew that I had issues in the past with my pad rent being backed up, but my landlady and I had an agreement! After he walked out of the room to instruct the clean up crew where to dump my stuff he stompped back in with my bottle of meds and walking to my toilet flushed them! And these are not cheap meds! Besides what doc is going to believe that when I explain why I'm asking for a prescription so soon after filling the last one. Grrr.

I barely managed to grab my laptop, my backpack for school and my purse. I came back that night to rummage through the trash with my neighbors. As they were picking out items to furnish their homes I was rescuing some of my stuff for my own use. I got my shampoo and toothbrush... and I got a couple jeans and tees. My winter coat, flip flops, my comforter and 2 of my pillows. I'm now staying in my brother's spare bedroom, which isn't the greatest because his girlfriend keeps trying to tell him that I'm just lazing in bed all day doing nothing while she is at work (this is true, but when she comes home and lazes in bed... I'm then out to school!) Anyhow, I have been rather depressed lately. Trying to keep my chin up, but sometimes when you don't have so much as some makeup to make you feel pretty... well. Anyhow, I've almost got enough gather points to cashout for a cvs card. Almost enough quickrewards money to get a walmart giftcard (easier for me than cash sometimes) and almost enough points on mypoints to get whatever giftcard. It's all almost for me and I'd really like to find some good paying sites that can help me quickly get together enough money to get me some things to make me feel human again. Also some good freebie sites would be good too. If you have any advice for starting over again I'd love that. I love you all.

There are many people on here who can direct you to some good sites. I am not one of them. I try sites and forget I signed up for them. Good ole ADHD!

Sorry this surprise move happened to you. On the plus side think of all the junk they got rid of for you. Not too helpful but trying to cheer you up.

I understand that landlords need to be paid their rent but I would never be able to toss someone out on the street.

That is the first thing I said to my mom after telling her what happened (my mom has been living on a fragil thread of sanity since my brother died... so I can't let things get too out of control emotionally when I talk to her) I said "You have been getting on me for years to declutter... now I have!"

hey did you get an eviction notice and go to court. Was this the cops who came to do this. If it was not no matter if you have a lease if you can prove you lived their he is in big trouble. Take his ass to court. We have rights. I have been through a lot of evictions in my day. For this to happen and for him to get this right you need to go to court 3 times the court asks you when you can pay the rent or back rent. Take his ass to court. Make a list of all the stuff you lost include that laptop that you got back. I could have been stolen and he is responsible and get your deposit back. This has me upset that folks to not know this

What? Seriously? Had been to court two times and had an agreement with my landlady to work on it anyhow. I never got a posted notice. And even if I had, I was under the impression because I OWNED the trailer it should have been a 60 day notice.

I am wondering why he threw away your PRESCRIPTION? That could be life-threatening and would think that would be wrong to do in the first place. You could consult with Legal Aid on that and also call 611 (I believe that is the number for United Way) which can put you in touch with agencies to help.

I don't know exactly why... but I'm sure that we all know that some police officers are a little power hungry and some are genuinely there to help. When my brother passed away those police could of hung me out to dry because he was under the age of 21 and had 5 cases of beer in his room. I could have been held responsible for that because I'm the oldest person over the age of 21 in my house. But they cared more about my loss and helping me then. And then sometimes you get the cop that uses his power to feel you up and laughs at you when you say you'll report him for it.

Well, to be honest. Forgt about the internet for money. Go out and get a job at Burger King, waitressing somewhere or even, since your going to school, work at the school. They have programs at colleges for students to work, cafe, phones ect. Get a reg. paycheck, tidbit money via internet isn't going to gt you anywhere. Or if you like to work independently and like to do merchandising on your time and pick you jobs, contact me privately and I will give you the site where you get paid twice a month for work. I work for this company and make decent money working at about ten stores for them...dvds up, leapfrof, playtex, and more.

I agree with you that internet money does not pay as well as a real job. And I'm not asking that anyone help me figure that out. I'm just wanting a little bit of tibit money to get my makeup, and other small items with. My brother also told me about a site called at is a romote controled job. Where I can network to other people's computers and do jobs for them and instruct them how to do it for pay. Sounds like fun, but I would only do that part time as well. Working on my resume today, LoL. My old one got thrown away... and the USB drive it was on!

kimberli you can make a living at home part-time I made more then a few thousand dollars from home last year. Yes it should have been 60 days and you should have had written notice from the court. I can give you some suggestions on what programs pay the best. You can make more money if you write. http://www.greenhouse.mahlo.com was paying me 300 per week at one point when they were busy. http://www.kgb.com I make currently 200 bucks a month. chacha.com I made 400 bucks a month before they changed and went sms. Anyone who tells you that you can not make a living from home I made a total of 15,000 dollars from home and did I tell you it was parttime

Sorry, I guess I wasn't very helpful. Why don't you try some of those game sites like GSN, Videosquares, Club Bing. These are something you could do during small spaces of time like in between classes. I was in school during the recession of the 1970's and I remember being without and dealing with landlords. It's all worth it in the end.
