On July 1st, I won $50 through RedGage in their daily contest. I was excited, needless to say. I had just started to wonder if the site was worth my time, as the earnings do not add up fast unless you are featured. I still don't think earnings wise, the site is going to be a good paying site for me. I don't have anything that has ever been featured, and in the 2 weeks since joining, I've earned $.89.
Well, $50.89, counting the win. ;)
Shortly after winning, someone posted that they got an email saying their card was mailed. I hadn't gotten one yet, and figured there was no way the card would arrive before I leave on Thursday to camp out for the weekend at my dad's house.
Today, however, the mail woman brought me a $50 RedGage Visa gift card! Even more happy, there isn't a $5 fee deducted from it. On the site, they say the first card you earn has a $5 fee deducted, and each payout after that, a 5% fee is deducted.
I'm thrilled to have won the card, and I've found I'm at the site more to rack up points (not so much earnings- the points are daily raffle entries for contests), to see if I can win another contest. You can win once every 7 days. July's contest is 1 $50 winner every day, 1 $150 winner every Sunday (on top of the daily $50 winner), and 1 $400 winner for the month.
I added this up, and while the prizes include larger ones, they are saving $400 a month doing it this way, as opposed to having 2 $50 winners every day.
If you haven't signed up, I recommend it based on the contests alone.

Congrats to you. I know a lot of people from gather have won the daily contest. I haven't won anything or been featured. So my earnings are real low. But it is worth it to try and win, cause $50 and up is a great prize.

Congrats! Yeah, I was getting a bit discouraged on their site. My prefered browser doesn't work well with their site and my earnings so far have been around $0.05! I haven't really posted much there yet, except for pictures, but perhaps I will continue to try to view as much as I can to earn the points so maybe I will win something. I have been really hopeful that I would win a gc. I could really use it :)
It is a bit discouraging with earnings. I don't recommend the site for that, because they're small. If you get featured, it's better, but you can't bank on that.

Interesting that you say that - I feel like their site is kind of strange when I am on it as I will be trying to get somewhere (clicking on a link) and then all of a sudden I am sent to an unrelated webpage (usally a yellow pages site) and I have no idea why I get sent there. I was wondering if it has something to do with their site or not. Most of the time I have trouble getting their links to work properly, to just move around the site.
That is so odd. I haven't had any odd problems, but I think the site is run oddly. When I click through links, the web addy piggy backs, and adds on to the page I was on. I think it's java?
I was also getting re-directed to other websites after being on RedGage. With all the talk of viruses from RedGage, I haven't been on for about a week.
I am barely doing anything over there. I'm so afraid of getting another virus on my laptop~

Hang in there if you content gets fetaured it does work, So far I have made $22.78 in bonus cash from having a few of my submission featured. I took a look at what was consistently getting featured and I am trying to dsubmit similar work. So far so good. From views alone I made .98 in 2 weeks.. I also discovered that this 'view' money is totaled and added on the first of the month.
I haven't received mine yet. :( I forget what day it was that I won, but it feels like it's been a long time.
Ok, just checked. Supposedly mine was mailed on JUNE 29. Never arrived.
I'd report it to them.
