Today I got an email that excited me because it was an invitation to a new online community. I love online communities because you get to share your opinion with others and get rewarded for doing it. I am a member of many different websites like this and always love to find more of them to join.
I had no idea what the survey was going to be about when I began but I quickly found out that it was about a store that my family shops at a lot.
Getting the opportunity to join an online community for that particular store was a neat surprise so I thought I'd share this chance with all of you too. Of course I can't share the name of the store here because it might sway your answers, but here's the email I got:
Dear Faith,
You have been invited to participate in a new online community!
Among those successfully COMPLETING the following 10 minute survey (avg),
a limited number of individuals will be selected to participate in an on-going
community which will reward you with cash and gifts for your participation.
The company that sent me this email (Focus Forward) is one that I've been with for awhile now and the phone interviews -so far- have all been shorter than the estimated time and payments have always come quickly. I like that they do interviews by phone, send surveys by email and have also introduced me to other websites that I wouldn't have found without them.
If you're already a member of Focus Forward then look in your inbox to see if you received this special invitation. If not, then please send me your email address by Gather mail and I'll send you an invitation to Focus Forward. Hopefully you'll be able to participate too!

I have been waiting for a little over two months for a couple checks they aren't much but could use them, now I am not sure which site they are coming from. I did get a couple outdated checks reissued, suprised me.

Hmmm... I wonder why - I know that some companies are very, very specific. Did you happen to get this email from them?
I don't think I did, but I am on vacation so I have been mass-deleting alot of emails from survey companies since I don't have time to do them. Mainly only checking in on Gather for my gsn.com answers!

Haha, you're cracking me up! My mission today is this: I will have one of my kids take a picture of me with my feet turned around backwards and then I'll post it here on Gather! :o)

If I could get around faster I would try this and a few other money making sites my friends like you have suggested. So far gather is all I do.
