Good Morning Everyone:

Just in case you missed it, I started a contest a few hours ago that is giving away a total of 90 comments.

 

I wanted to know from everyone, which do you prefer, the written responder to your posts, or the graphic colorful responses to your posts?  Many of you have received random drive by comments from me on your posts, photos, videos, etc...  I was just curious which type of response do you prefer?

I think it is safe to say everyone likes a person to look at theie content and think about their response to it but there is so much content on Gather we can't expecxt that. I am would never complain on comments though. I am happy to have both.

I think it depends on my post, and is the drive by appropriate. Like if i'm being thanked for posting to a group, or happy birday, or happy gatherversary etc.
but sometimes I'd like a real reasponse.

I like thought-out, written comments on my more 'meaningful' posts, but the graphics can be nice once in a while :)

I like both and would welcome and appreciate either. But my honest opinion, I like the graphics because it shows character! I think that it brightens a message! Thanks for the contest! I hope I win!

Personally, I have no preference. But, just to make sure you are aware, apparently Gather considers it "spam" if you use the same cut & paste comment on multiple responses. I've had one person tell me they lost points and another tell me they got a warning. So, even though I sometimes use a cut & paste (stopping by from.....), I always add something unique first.

I think I like both. A "smattering" of both is fine by me. If I get all "drive-bys", that probably means my post just wasn't interesting. :P
