Points redemption: Instant gratification or patience?

I woke up this morning to find myself in the rare position of being able to cash out. I've been a member since February of 2006 and this is only the second time I've hit 625. (I'm at 628 now.)

The first time it happened, I was so excited, I immediately cashed out for a $10 gift card. This time though, I'm debating whether to cash out now for a GC which provides me with instant gratification, or to exercise my patience and save up points for a $25 Paypal cash out.

I know there are many of you out there with much more experience in this than I, so help me out with some advice, pretty please! Should I go for instant gratification or patience?

I like Gift Cards, so I cash out for those always
It's all a matter of what you like! Cash, or a gift card.
I'm on cash, so I just request a paypal payment whenever I like & it is there in a few days.

well im not yet at gc or cash out so its hat you want is there something specail you want to get if so the choice is your lets us all know what you do

I always wait until I hit the $50 mark. It does require patience, though

I take it you aren't all that active here on gather...maybe we can get you to change that and see more of you. Me, I would cash out...it's taken a lot for me to wait to get to 3125 for $50 instead of doing the $25...but figured I would save gather some postage by saving up.

I just got my second $50 gift card to Home Depot. I gave both of them to hubby and he hightailed it to HD LOL.

For me I would wait until I could get the bigger gift card, or in your case paypal payout. It's hard to do, but I think it's better that way.

if ur not on here 2 much - it prolly makes sense 2 get a gc - that way u don't have 2 wait 4eva & u can go & splurge on a little somthin
