Pinecone Reseach is holding an open sign up period. By visiting Pinecone's application page, you can sign up for one of the most dependable paid survey companies in the U.S. (If the link gives you problems, copy and paste http://www.gofreebies.com/click.asp?m=195&idh=5fa9e41bfec0725742cc9d15ef594120&id=360 into a new browser window).
Most survey companies require members to build points or cash to a specific level before cashing out. This can take a few weeks to months, depending on the cash out levels. Pinecone doesn't do that though. The company pays $3 per survey, plus enteries into a bi-weekly sweepstakes. Pinecone pays via Paypal or check. The company allows the member to choose a preferred payment option at sign up. Payments via Paypal are received more quickly. I've never waited more than three days for a Pinecone payment via Paypal. When I first joined, I received one payment by check, and it was on a one week turnaround.
Although it varies for each person, I personally complete two or three surveys for Pincecone per month. Each survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes. There are occassional unpaid screener surveys that only include a few questions and take less than five minutes to complete. The company always clearly identifies these in the e-mail invitation.
Finally, perhaps the only downside of Pinecone is the lack of referral program. The company only takes on new members when it needs to fill demographic gaps in its membership. It doesn't provide a mechanism for rewarding its current members for recruiting new members.
If you enjoy taking surveys, would like to be paid quickly for each survey, and don't mind the lack of referral program, then Pinecone is for you.

This description of the site is very accurate. Pinecone is one of the few that doesn't look like a total scam from the get-go(not saying they are, just saying the websites give that image, and Pinecone definitely gives off a professional image).
Thanks for the review! Very informative!
My apologies. I included the landing link, rather than the banner link from the newsletter I get. Sorry. Try this one:
