My Points.com...What do you think?

I have been a member of MyPoints.com for over a year now. Recently my points have increased due to a few online purchases. I have cashed out before and received the gift cards fairly quick. I have only cashed out for $10 Wal-Mart gift cards. I am thinking of cashing out for a larger amount with a different merchant. I would like to get some opinions on this before I do so. Any suggestions?

I'd say go for it. If you'd had success before why not. I'm a member there too but haven't had enough points to cash out on anything. I wish I new about this mypoints site before I made an online purchase with Best Buy.

I do this for Christmas and birthdays. I tend to go with Target or whatever has the LEAST amount of points for say $10 or $25. It's a good idea to get them well before you need them as they have been known to have a backlog!

my points is a great program and it's reliable. not like alot of other programs. you do get the cards you order. i save up for the largest cards available. and i either use them for presents or i use them to get presents.

Go for it! I always save up for the larger cards. I've been a member of Mypoints for 10+ years. They've always been reliable and within the last year or so it seems like the gift cards come a little quicker than they use to. They've come in soooo handy over the years. Hubby and I used a lot of gift cards from Mypoints and another rewards program when we were first married to purchase stuff that we needed and didn't receive as gifts. Now I usually cash in for Wal Mart so we can get necessities, but once in a while will go for something like Rainforest Cafe as a treat.

I just cash-out for two $50 amazon.com gift cards. and one $25 amazon gift card. i love amazon they give free S & H over $25.

I just redeemed for a 25 dollar Target gift card. I like to get at least 25 dollar cards, as these will get me further.

I love them! This year I have recieved around $75 in GCs for Circuit City and Linens and Things and I am just about up to one more before the year is up.

I don't really shop through them much at all. Just a few times, but I make sure to respond to all the emails, surveys and such. They add up quickly that way:)

I have been a member of MyPoints for years. Since 2001. I have even gotten cards for my favorite restaurants, used them and they were honored. My husband and I love Red Lobster and have used the cards there!

Thanks! This I am going to go cash out today! It is refreshing to hear good feedback for an online program like this! There are so many scams out there. You can never be too careful.

I haven't ever shopped through them. I just read e-mails and do surveys. In the past year I have gotten $135 worth of gift cards. Not bad for reading e-mails.

I think that you should go for it. That way if you change your mind, you still have accumulated enough points for the smaller ones just in case.

I have been with MyPoints for a long time. Just love being able to click on the email and get points. They add up and I usually trade them in for Chilis gift certificates. This is a very good paid reading email group.
