Has ANYONE ever gotten 3,000 points in one month?

I think you would have to be glued to your computer for a month.

No one will ever know how the points are awarded. It is a mystery. It has been done, the 3000 points in a month, not by me though. I am setting it for my goal this month. I m deterined to get it. Keep writing articles and comment on whatever you can and I am sure you can get there too!

Wow Lora. Did you have to live on your computer? I just can't imagine. I thought I published a fair amount and am commenting on what interests me, but I don't want to add stuff just to add. I started a group that has almost 700 people already, so I just don't get it. I think that it is amazing that you did it though. Way to go!

It is possible to do. Write a few articles a day and connect to people who share your interests, and comment, comment, comment!

I think you may have to have a lot of groups to reach this goal, but I'm not sure.

I hit 3,000 points after my first 28 days...and I don't have any groups of my own. Just write what people want to read...and they respond. I'll make money now every month...the amount just gets higher. I don't spend tons of time; just make sure the time I spend is used wisely.

Susan..just ask a bunch of idiotic questions like "what is your favorite cookie?" or "can you name a chewing gum?" and the points will roll right in...

I cannot even imagine that I could be on the computer for the days and days on end that it would take to get to 3000 points in one month.
How many hours per day would you have to be on here?

I already spend more time on the computer than I need to. My husband will think I am having an affair if I spend enough time to get 3000 points.

Shannon I have done all that you said to Susan for the past five months to no avail I am always short a hundred or more points. NOTHING I have done helps not even asking inane questions like what is your shoe size or something similar. I belong to over 200 groups and post frequently daily several times a day to all of them and make hundreds of comments I have 422 friends. Only a handful regularly comment on any of my articles and another handful sometimes. Over all I would say maybe 50 of my 400 plus friends comment at all. I cannot be on the computer all the time and spend already far too much time on it as it is. I am going to have to do other things now summer is here and spend less time. I have even deprived myself of sleep this last month staying up way way later than normal trying and suffered for it. So I don't now how they do it. Nothing I have tried works. I think gather deliberately sets gather gremlins loose too at months end because they seem to mulitply and get worse the last 3-4 days of the months.

Jennine - Would those be the ones that seem to lower your scores? I noticed that yesterday, a bunch of my articles had lower ratings than the day before?

Susan H. I would like to make the 3000 points in a month too, but I can't really see it happening for the same reasons you have stated.

Rob, you must be an aberration. How else could you do that????? Either that or..........

Actually, I think part of Rob's success is because he posts daily, with lengthy articles that attract a lot of comments.
