Honeymoon IS Over!!!

I'm burnt out by Gather. My honeymoon phase has come to an end. It's become too consuming for me, my own fault. I just couldn't stay away. I was like a moth to it's flames and now I'm burnt out.

I'm NOT leaving, I'll just be cutting my Gather posts and time down drastically. And NO the trolls didn't drive me away. They've irritated but in no way led to my decision to take several steps back into Real life. If anything, trolls have made me MORE determined to stick with this site till the end of time.

YAY, I adore you all!!! I'll still post daily or almost daily. I'm certainly not going to say buh-bye when just the other day Purr and her chocolatey sauce slipped ontop of me!!! Naaa- Uhhh!!! Not Leaving.

Just wanted everyone to know.

I totally get it. I've had to step back from this and other sites at times. There's only so much time in each day!
Enjoy some time for yourself and the family that was being eaten up her. But please don't go away entirely. You'd be sorely missed!

I understand what you are talking about! I haven't been on quite as much, my reason is a bit different, I haven't been feeling that well. I also have other things in my life that I need to do. Espically with the Holiday's coming up.

Thats quite understandable Lady. Your family and yourself do come first! Gather can take alot out of you, especially trying to get points nowdays. It requires to much time to earn even one GC here anymore. So I myself have cut back, and only stop in from time to time. I have been spending some of my time on GSN, that I normally would have been spending on Gather. I enjoy it, and the points (or oodles) come much faster. I'll still be looking for your post, when I do drop by here Lady. Take your break and enjoy it!

I have had spells when I would stay away for awhile, but eventually come back and see whats new.
Amy, ENJOY life outside of the internet, its not something to take lightly.
And at your age and position, you need the brake.
Take the time to play with those two wonderful little boys, AND their daddy!
Thats the most imprtant part of life anyway.....
